Publications & Translations
Writing has been the backbone of my professional career – from scholarly articles, teaching materials and readings, to marketing copy. In addition to my own original texts, I am a translator of German into English. It is a labor of love, but translation introduces a different relationship to the language and demands a different approach to writing.

Translations
A labor of love, I developed a specialty in translating contemporary German academic texts into English. Translation is (both metaphorically and literally) what instruction is all about: how can I make a body of work understandable to an audience that knows nothing about it?
